der bildband "target. targetmessages" ist kürzlich erschienen.

diese grafiken wurden 2004 in einer anti-bush ausstellung (kuratiert von barry blinderman) in der illinois state university gallery gezeigt. es ist anaximanders zweiter beitrag im rahmen der anti-bush kampagnien und ausstellungen.

a little bit about this work...

"...the last months i was traveling a lot around europe. it was very interesting how different all the german language newspapers are writing about george w. bush, john kerry, the election and the iraq-war.

absolutly unexpected to me, an austrian newspaper wrote the most objective - but also critical - articles, and named a lot of facts you wont find in german newspapers! exeption the so called „left“ ones. you need to know: the austrian „standard“ is a middleclass newspaper.

the „TARGET“ symbol i use for my work since 1999. the 79 days longing, by the american politicians and newspapers only "conflict" called - in  thruth it was WAR on jugoslavia. the woman (lots `ve been mothers) of jugoslavia were protesting against this WAR by wearing big targets on their shirts.

since i saw this, i use this symbol in several forms and formats for critical messages, messages against WAR, messages against iniquities human force on other human - the „TargetMessages“..."

abstraktionen des target-motives...

unten sind target & targetmessages serien zu sehen, alle im linol oder holzdruck verfahren (handdruck) hergestellt, die zum ersten mal 2002 im haus der demokratie & menschenrechte in berlin ausgestellt wurden.

alle erlöse aus dieser ausstellung wurden der "starfish"association, einer aidshilfe organisation des schauspielers rutger hauer, gespendet.

am abend der ausstellung erreichte anaximander folgender text:
